Previous history.?The patient and his relatives were preparing some <jur (treacle) and accidentally dropped some of the boiling stuff inside the ear about a month before his admission, and scalded it badly. Me had violent inflammation accompanied with great pain and profuse discharge from the ear. The pain and the discharge went on increasing till he was obliged to seek admission into the hospital. Condition and admission.?The patient was a well-nourished young man.
